NMSRC.Non-Market Strategy

Activities

We engage in various academic and social activities. Some of our activities are only open to our community members, but we are taking more efforts to reach out to a broader academic community to facilitate understanding of non-market strategy and raise interest among scholars. You can find our past, on-going, and future activities in this section.

In 2018, we started as an informal group of scholars to share research ideas and organize scholarly activities at various academic conferences such as the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Strategic Management Society (SMS).

As we grew larger, we began to initiate various academic as well as social activities. We organized our very first brownbag seminar among our community members in 2019 and held two to three seminars every semester ever since, with expanded audiences. We also take efforts to support doctoral students engaged in non-market strategy research in various ways, and organized our first doctoral conference online in May 2021.

We look forward to continually engaging in various scholarly activities with academic and professional communities in the future.
